CGUsip Client v1.1

The CGUsip Client v1.1, by Network Convergence Lab at Claremont Graduate University, is designed to provide voice and video services using SIP, a session initiation protocol promoted by the IETF. The application, developed in Java, is built over Dynamicsoft's SIP stack. It uses Dynamicsoft's libraries for SIP-related transactions and the Java Media Framework (JMF) libraries for media operations. The client is designed to work with any SIP proxy, open source or patented, and interact with other SIP user agents, MSN Messenger, or Vovida. CGUsip Client v1.1, as a part of Video Development Initiative, is integrated with directory services designed on the commObject architecture. The commObject architecture is designed for storing communication attributes that integrate with white page information in enterprise directories.
