National Emergency Number Association NENA is presently evaluating information recently made available on methods for bringing Voice over Internet 9-1-1 calling into E9-1-1 systems that provide Selective Routing and Automatic Location Information (ALI). NENA is likely to recommend that Voice over Internet providers use newly available interfaces into the E9-1-1 systems for customers that have fixed locations and are using telephone numbers from their local area code.
